Mr. S. M. Yaqoob started working formally in India. No prospects of a legal career were in his mind at the time.
Migration from India
Mr. S. M. Yaqoob set foot in Pakistan continuing to work for Multinational Companies and Organizations and received numerous certificates and awards for appreciation and excellence of work.
Laying of Foundation
Mr. S. M. Yaqoob started his profession in the capacity of a Lawyer, Industrial Relations Advisor, Labour laws (Employment Laws) and Management Consultant.
I.R.A.A
Mr. S. M. Yaqoob along with other founding members founded the Industrial Relations Advisors Association and helped pave its path to recognition and affiliation with the International Industrial Relations Association, Geneva.
Our First Office
First lease of our official office was initiated. M/S S. M. Yaqoob law firm was born and founded by Mr. S. M. Yaqoob.
Start of Practice of Mr. S. M. Iqbal
Mr. S. M. Yaqoob was joined by his youngest son Mr. S. M. Iqbal as a practitioner of the Law, Industrial Relations Advisor, Labour laws (Employment Laws) and Management Consultant.
ILO Conventions
Mr. S. M. Yaqoob played an integral part in the ratification of the ILO conventions and recommendations in Pakistan.
New Partner
Mr. S. M. Iqbal was acclaimed as Junior Partner of M/S S. M. Yaqoob.

Mr. S. M. Yaqoob was elected as Life time Chairman of the Industrial Relations Advisors Association (I.R.A.A.).

M/s S. M. Yaqoob was joined by Mr. S. M. Zeeshan, Son of Mr. S. M. Iqbal and Grandson of Mr. S. M. Yaqoob, in the capacity of a legal practitioner, Industrial Relations Advisor, Labour laws (Employment Laws) and Management Consultant.
End of an Era
The unfortunate demise of Mr. S. M. Yaqoob at the unbelievable age of 87 left us with heavy hearts but the essence of his hard work, morality and unparalleled command over the law still flows in our veins.
Honorary Election
Mr. S. M. Iqbal was elected General Secretary of the Industrial Relations Advisors Association (I.R.A.A.).
New Partner & Owner
Mr. S. M. Zeeshan was acclaimed as Junior Partner of M/s S. M. Yaqoob and Mr. S. M. Iqbal took his position of Senior Partner and Owner of the firm.
