Industrial Relations Act, 2008

The Senate has passed the above Act, the National Assembly may soon pass the same and with assent of the President, it would become law of the land. The Act has been made incorporating most of the provisions of IRO, 1969. Certain sections/provisions of IRO,02 have modified and some sections of IRO,02 have been omitted which may be observed from below. We give below comparative sections of IRO 1969, IRO 2002 and IR Act, 2008 as nearly as possible for general study and understanding. The comments on the Act would be made when it finally becomes law.
